Having Fun at Happy Tots
Our enclosed outdoor play area offers stimulating features and sensory areas such as water, sand, den-making and a mud kitchen where children can have great fun making mud pies and baking mud cakes…. Yum! Our children can have great fun exploring outdoors, jumping in puddles, planting seeds and going on bug hunts.
Petite Acting Academy visits us weekly to entertain the children with a variety of music, movement and dance, and Coach Brian visits us twice per week, at the church hall next door, where children have opportunities to participate in physical games using cones, nets and footballs – very popular with the children. (Parents are also welcome!)
Coach Brian from Little Kickers is very popular with all our children – he delivers football sessions twice per week to give children a positive introduction to sport so they’re more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives. Little Kickers sessions stimulates imagination and aids early development skills such as learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing as a team.
Anthony (from Inspire Sports Development Ltd) visits us every Friday afternoon to deliver Yoga classes to the children. Yoga helps to maintain flexibility and strengthen growing bodies, enhance concentration. increase self-esteem, spark creativity, encourage kind peer and social interactions, enhances body awareness, teach discipline and responsibility.
We understand that leaving your child for the first time can be upsetting for you and sometimes, for your child. You are more than welcome to stay in nursery as long as you want, and please be assured that when you feel ready to leave your child for a short period of time, their key person will spend time with them, helping them settle in.
Please call in and experience our nursery for yourself – once you have visited Happy Tots and decided that you would like a place, we will arrange some settling-in visits – these visits are invaluable and will give us the opportunity to begin to build important relationships with you and your child. Visits are not limited – it is more important that we help your child feel happy and settled to ensure a smooth transition from home to nursery.
