In the blue room, children can create imaginative stories in the small world area or work on the construction site, building and measuring and re-creating iconic structures.
Our home corner is situated in the green room, with a fully equipped kitchen and lounge area to enable our little busy bees get creative in the kitchen, set the table for tea, or ‘get cosy’ and read a book with friends on the sofa or cushions.
ICT, maths and mark-making resources are also accessible in the green room which offer opportunities to count, match, sort, compare and develop pre-writing skills.
The creative area can be found in the red room, where children can ‘get messy’ in the painting area and creative work shop, create a beach scene and develop scientific skills in the sand and water area or practice counting and develop fine motor skills in the baker’s shop in the playdough area.
